The RM is home to the village of Avonlea, the hamlet of Claybank, and the localities of Gravelbourg Junction and Truax. The four heritage properties in the area include the Claybank Brick Plant, the Crystal Hill School, the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Elevator #292, and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. The RM also includes the geographical features of the Dirt Hills, the Watson Reservoir, and the Avonlea Badlands and Creek.
