Located in the heart of south-central Saskatoon, Avalon is a mature neighbourhood with deep roots in the city's rich history. Home to over 3,400 residents, Avalon's development was mostly completed in the 1960s, with some additional homes added in the 1990s. However, with the rising popularity of infill properties, several modern renovations and designs can be found here, as well, though the average home price remains quite reasonable at just over $325,000.
A long-established fixture of Saskatoon, Avalon is home to several amenities to make life as convenient as possible right outside your door. Here, you can find multiple restaurants as well as a hotel, salon, spa, convenience store, gas station, and church. Not to mention, many incredible grocery, shopping, and eating establishments can be found just across the overpass in the generously-appointed Stonebridge area.
There are 2 fantastic schools located in Avalon—John Lake School and Georges Vanier Catholic Fine Arts School. And several parks can also be found here, including John Lake Park, Avalon Park, and Seeley Park. And dog lovers will be even happier to know it is also home to one of the city's most popular dog parks, as well!
