Originally homesteaded in the 1880s, Westmount is a mature Saskatoon neighbourhood located near the city’s centre. Made up of mostly older bungalow-style single-family homes, it has a population of about 2,900 people and an affordable average home price of just over $202,000.
Found along 22nd Street W, Westmount has a few different amenities to offer right in the neighbourhood, including restaurants, a gas station, and a couple of small shops. All the other amenities you could need can easily be found along the rest of 22nd Street W or just down the street in either the Midtown Plaza or downtown Saskatoon.
Westmount is home to 4 great parks with just over 52 acres of greenspace to offer, including an outdoor rink. The Westmount Community Association coordinates several social and leisure activities throughout the year. There are also 2 schools found in the community, as well, including Westmount Community School and E.D. Feehan Catholic High School, offering public elementary and Catholic secondary education, respectively.
