Located in west-central Saskatoon, the diverse neighbourhood of Pleasant Hill was originally known as Willoughy Hill, with historical roots dating back to the 1880s. It currently has a population of about 5,200 people, a very affordable average home price of just over $154,000, and has recently been selected for a major $3.5 million revitalization project.
One of the largest amenities the neighbourhood of Pleasant Hill has to offer is St. Paul’s Hospital, one of only 3 in the city. And bordered by 22nd Street W to the north, it has a number of commercial amenities, including restaurants, a pharmacy, and supermarket. It is also very close to the downtown core, so you can easily enjoy all the shopping, dining, and entertainment to be found in Saskatoon’s beating heart.
Over 22 acres of parkland can be found in Pleasant Hill, and the Pleasant Hill Community Association organises several leisure activities for the community throughout the year. They operate out of the neighbourhood’s 2 schools, Pleasant Hill School and St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre, offering both public and Catholic education, respectively.
