A modern and caring community, Colonsay is a small town of about 475 people found about 60 KM east of Saskatoon. Named for a small island off the west coast of Scotland, it has a rich agricultural identity and is home to a large potash mine, a draw for many new residents.

Colonsay Amenities

Given the 40-minute commute to the city of Saskatoon, there are many amenities to be found in the town of Colonsay. There is a gas station, restaurant, and grocery store, as well as a local RCMP detachment, golf course, swimming pool, and sports centre. Families will also have access to K-8 schooling for their children at Colonsay School.
